Update on Christmas 2019

Some of you will have already seen this on the news, but for those that don't know, our trailer containing the toys for the toy was broken into and most of the items were stolen. We urgently need any help and support the community would be willing to give. Please text/call our our hotline number at 615-641-0577 if you would like to donate, volunteer, or need to contact us for any reason.

The toy store this year will be on 12/21/19 and will run from 11 AM to 2 PM, and food will need to be picked up this year between 9 AM and 11 AM. The toy store and food pickup will be at Mt Juliet Middle School.

If you would like to volunteer, we need volunteers for Friday, 12/20 from 4 PM - 9 PM, and on Sat 12/21 from 9 AM to 4 PM. Please text or call the hotline if you would like to volunteer.

Help Line

Big Brothers exists to give a hand up, not a hand out. We understand that sometimes bad things happen to good people, and in the spirit of helping our neighbors, we provide assistance all year long to those who are simply trying to get through what folks around here call "hard times."

Big Brothers of Mt. Juliet will offer a one-time helping gift up to $100, once a year, to any family or person who fits our criteria. Individuals, School Faculty, concerned citizens and organizations from across West Wilson County, may Big Brothers regarding individuals and families who need assistance. When a family is experiencing short term difficulties with paying an electrical bill, water bill, heating bill, sewer bill, rent, needing food for their family, medications, etc., we have a committee that takes the request, investigates them and makes a decision on whether help is needed.

We cannot serve everyone, and our boundries fall only in West Wilson County, west of Hwy. 109 and the western Wilson/Davidson County line.

Please call our Help Line number at (615) 641-0577.
