Our Supporters
Big Brothers relies on support and assistances from individuals, businesses and organizations across the entire community to carry forth its mission of helping those that are less fortunate. Each fall numerous businesses, churches, clubs and groups volunteer their time and make donations on behalf of Big Brothers.
These groups, referred to as supporters, carry the Big Brothers missions and goals to different areas of the community. Big Brothers supporters are a necessary part of its efforts to raise funds each year to provide assistance to needy families. When a family is experiencing short term difficulties with paying an electrical bill, water bill, heating bill, sewer bill, rent needing food for their family, medication, or etc., we have a committee that takes the request and investigates them and makes a decision on whether help is needed. We serve West Wilson County that begins at Hwy. 109 and Hwy. 70 and goes to the Davidson County border.
